How a 10th-grade essay shaped my journey
Hellooooo!
Little story time :)

When I was in class 10, we had a preboard exam before the actual boards. It determined how well we were prepared for the big day.
For English Grammar, we had to write an essay, a letter, and answer questions based on an unseen passage. Then came the usual grammar stuff—prepositions, active-passive, direct-indirect sentences—you know the drill.
For one of the preboards, I chose the essay topic: "Should computers be made compulsory in school?"
100 words in, I blanked out. How was I supposed to stretch this to 250 more words?

After a few minutes of silent panic and revisiting the topic list, I made a call.
Took out my pencil and ruler, neatly struck out a page and a half of content, and switched to another topic: "Every cloud has a silver lining." Finished the essay. But I wasn’t happy with it.
I wrote whatever popped into my head—had to tackle the time crunch. And since English was one of my favorite subjects, I felt pretty disappointed after the paper.
None of it mattered. These marks didn’t count for anything. But I still wanted to feel proud of what I had written.
Cut to a month later. Exams were over, and we got our answer sheets back.
I scored a perfect 25/25 on that essay. Not even a 24.5.

That day holds a special place in my heart. It made me think, maybe I write better than most (all would be too cocky, right?) of my classmates.
Of course, I still convinced myself that the teacher might not have paid close attention to my essay—but if that were the case, would they really have given me full marks?
This was in 2014.
Since then, I’ve been writing, critiquing, and improving my content for over 10 years now.
First for marks,
Then for myself,
Then for corporates,
And now, for my clients.
I am my own biggest critic.
What seems awesome to others often feels just okay to me. So when I say I deliver top-notch content, it means you’re getting something more.
Now that I write professionally, I’ve learned SO much, especially about what drives conversions and what actually works for businesses.

That’s why I’m starting this newsletter—to help you write better, scale faster, and create B2B content that brings real results.
